Sogepa invests in businesses active in Wallonia's steel industry, particularly via its subsidiary FSIH (Foreign Strategic Investments Holding), in the interest of the Walloon economy.

Through its investments, Sogepa is contributing to making Wallonia a region of innovative technology in an industry whose potential for development is undeniable, especially thanks to new high-growth products.

These new products stem, for example, from PVD technology (Physical Vapour Deposition) from Arceo engineering that are authorizing various new developments that can be applied to energy management, household appliances or even constructions and cars. It's also the case for JVD technology (Jet Vapor Deposition) which will also be installed on the continuous annealing process line at Kessales. Fully developing this new galvanisation process will make it possible to reduce the weight of steel in vehicles, thereby reducing CO2 emissions.

Although Sogepa is a partner with major steel companies such as NLMK and even ArcelorMittal, it also invests in smaller companies active in the sector.
